Clarence Cuthpert Jr., a Savannah, GA native, is the youngest (by a mere eleven months) of two children. If you are looking for the perfect backdrop to a suspenseful novel, you probably wouldn’t think of his upbringing as anything particularly special; however, that is exactly how he feels about it and his childhood home – special. Though the house was humble, he is quick to tell you that the love that filled it made every moment special. His father, a hard-working provider, taught him the value of hard work, while his mother never missed an opportunity to remind him that challenges were merely chances to grow, learn, and achieve.
These are the values that he carries with him today and intentionally infuses into both his daily life and family. Additionally, the difference his parents and maternal grandparents made in his life solidified his resolve to make a difference for others, and that desire to make a difference ultimately led him to pursue law and become a (former) member of the U.S. Judicial System.
